On sample code using in this guide

Definition

Code examples are the key part of any successful software guide / tutorial as they represet the "theme" of the guide. Just like composing a symphony, where the selection of the theme has the major impact on the symphony's form and content, our sample code collection fully defines our guides in general and the Aurelia CLI guide in particular.

The samples used in (this) Aurelia CLI Guide are manually constructed by starting with the code generated by the current version of the CLI desktop tool and expanding it to reach the level of complexity of the current skeleton navigation sample.

Two sections Aurelia CLI basic Typescript application and Expanding basic CLI to full navigation skeleton explain all details of such expansion.

All AUCS code samples are maintained in AUCS Code Samples repository organized as a collection of nested folders (top level folders shown below in Image 1:

Only the aurelia-cli/typescript application sufficiently evolved to be used as the model for all other AUCS code samples - which have to be written first in order to be able to write the frst three planned guides - the subject of the AUCS project.
